Creating Your First Interview

This guide walks you through creating and conducting your first interview with InsightAgent.

Before You Begin

Ensure you have:

  • Added at least one expert to your account

  • Configured your AI agent (or use the default)

Creating an Interview

1. Navigate to Interviews

Click Interviews in the sidebar, then click New Interview.

4. Select an Expert

Choose from your existing experts or add a new one inline.

5. Add Interview Questions

Structure your interview with:

  • Opening questions - Build rapport

  • Core questions - Main topics to cover

  • Follow-up prompts - Dig deeper on key points

6. Configure Settings

  • AI Agent - Select which agent conducts the interview

  • Language - Primary interview language

  • Duration - Expected interview length

7. Schedule or Start

  • Schedule - Set a future date and time

  • Start Now - Begin the interview immediately

During the Interview

Phone Interviews

  1. Click Dial to initiate the call

  2. Monitor the live transcript

  3. Use the Interrupt button if needed

  4. End the call when complete

Web Interviews

  1. Copy the interview link

  2. Share with your expert

  3. Wait for them to join

  4. Monitor and manage the conversation

After the Interview

  • Review the complete transcript

  • Export in your preferred format

  • Access AI-generated summaries

  • Archive or delete as needed
