How Interviews Work
Interviews can be conducted in two ways, determined by how the expert accesses the interview:
Phone Interviews
The AI agent calls into a dial-in number to conduct the interview. Requirements:
Valid dial-in phone number configured
Meeting ID for the call
The expert joins via their regular phone/conference line
Web Interviews
Expert joins via a browser link. Requirements:
Share the interview link with the expert
Modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
Microphone access

Call being initiated (phone only)

Session Tracking
Each interview can have multiple sessions (e.g., if a call drops and reconnects). Sessions have their own status:
Active
Session currently in progress
Completed
Session ended normally
Abandoned
Session ended unexpectedly (call dropped, connection lost)
Abandoned sessions are clearly marked in the interview list and detail views, helping you identify interviews that may need follow-up.
