How Agents Work
When you create a custom agent, InsightAgent automatically creates two versions:
- Phone version - Optimized for phone-based conversations
- Web version - Optimized for browser-based voice chat
Both versions share your configuration (name, prompt, language) but are deployed separately to handle each platform's requirements.
Default vs Custom Agents
Default Agent
Every account includes system default agents that work out of the box for both Full Interview and Vetting Interview types.
Custom Agents
Create tailored agents for specific use cases:
- Industry-specific language
- Custom question flows
- Specialized follow-up logic
- Brand voice and tone
- Multiple language support
Agent Selection
When creating an interview:
- The interview uses your account's default agent for that interview type
- You can select a different agent if you have custom agents
- The correct platform version (Phone/Web) is used automatically based on how the expert joins
