Creating a New Agent

  1. Go to Settings > Agents
  2. Click Create Agent
  3. Select type (Full Interview / Vetting Interview)
  4. Configure settings:
    • Agent name
    • Language
    • Persona name
    • First message
    • Custom prompt (Goal section)
    • Description
  5. Click Create

The agent is created asynchronously in the background. You'll see a "Creating agent..." placeholder until it's ready.

Note: Both Phone and Web versions are created automatically - you don't need to create them separately.

Editing an Agent

  1. Go to Settings > Agents
  2. Click the edit (pencil) icon on the agent
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Save

Pending Interviews Warning

If you edit an agent that has pending interviews (SCHEDULED or DIALING status), you'll see a warning. Pending interviews will automatically use the new version.

Agent Versioning

Every time you edit an agent, a new version is created:

  • View version history in the sidebar when editing
  • Compare versions to see what changed
  • Restore previous versions if needed

Version history includes:

  • Version number
  • Creation date
  • All configuration changes

Setting a Default Agent

  1. Go to Settings > Agents
  2. Click the checkmark icon on the agent you want as default
  3. This agent will be used for new interviews of that type

Deleting an Agent

  1. Go to Settings > Agents
  2. Click the trash icon on the agent
  3. Confirm deletion

What happens to interviews:

  • Completed interviews retain the original agent information and display the agent name with "(archived)" label
  • Pending interviews (scheduled but not yet conducted) automatically fall back to the default agent

Deleted agents are archived (not permanently removed) to preserve historical records.

Best Practices

  • Start with the default agent and customize from there
  • Create agents with names that reflect their purpose
  • Use clear, specific language in prompts
  • Match the agent's persona name to your brand
  • Review interview transcripts and iterate on prompts
